You should try to find out if he is indeed interested or not so you are sure and are able to move quicker. If you don’t find out and then end up knowing he did like you, you’ll regret it. Also, moving on without knowing if he’s interested makes it difficult because you’ll be always asking yourself ‘what if…’. Try to get along with him, find common interests, and then try to find out. Also, if you’re never with him, you can’t really say you like him can you…you’re attracted to him, but you don’t ‘like like’ a person until you get to know them.
I think you’ve answered yourself sweetie. If he’s not right for you why would you go after him? I know love is a powerful thing but even so you need to think is it really going to work. If you weren’t happy with him, you need to move on and find someone who will make you happy. The fact that he doesn’t like you only helps your case, that way you can move on because, if it’s up to him, you won’t get back together. You need to respect the fact that he doesn’t like you and use that in your favour and find someone who will like you and make you happy and all those romantic and respectful things that you deserve.
